Marvelous Resources is a feature length documentary (in progress) about the conflicts born of water scarcity, outdated public utilities, and the struggle between the citizens and corporations vying to control this fundamental resource. By profiling protagonists impacted by transnational water privatization in Latin America and the United States, this video will visualize the severe discrepancy between water privatization in its theory and practice, give voice to women and marginalized communities most adversely affected, and bear witness to the ways diverse communities are responding with inspiring models of participatory democracy.
